I'm Sean McCormick, the founder of Executive Function Specialists and the author of this course. When I started tutoring as a side-business in 2020 from my main job as a special education teacher, I had no idea how vast and deep the need for executive function coaching was. Within 10 months of starting my business I needed to hire team members to meet the demand and was able to resign from my tenured teaching position in a school district because SO many people need help with their executive function challenges. After two years of refining and perfecting my process for providing executive function coaching, I am laying out the foundational steps provide this type of support for students and families in this course. I am confident that if you invest the time, energy and enthusiasm into learning the skills I teach here, you too can make a BIG impact on the lives of families and students.
